I think it is one of the better ones I have read since owning my kindle. I was excited to read it because of the time travel element, there's no one genre to capture all that this novel offers; it's truly an original. I found this book well written and intriguing. It kept my interest from the beginning to the end. Very good read with lots of action and humor. Great job Denniger!

Like the soldier convicts of The Dirty Dozen By Frank Scozzari Inspired by a dream, THE TIME CARD is a hugely imaginative, humorous, well-written sci-fi story with a plot that will twist your mind. It is science fiction of the highest order. I read the entire story in one quick sitting and when I turned the last page, I wished it had never ended.Like the soldier convicts of The Dirty Dozen, the protagonist, Fogarty, gets a second chance; not by fighting Nazis, but by being a guinea pig in a time travel experiment. The mission offers more than a 5-year reduction in sentence. It provides an opportunity to undo the crime he never committed. The Time Card itself is a clever little device which enables a person to punch in a date and time and Wham!—off you go.As with all great time travel books, THE TIME CARD posses ethical and philosophical questions. What would you do if you could travel back in time? What injustice would you correct? Or would you just spend the time having fun and getting rich? If you enjoy time travel stories, I think you'll love this one.

Good for developing a fertile imagination. Fantasies are like dreams. When we come back to reality, our wakeful state, if is the experience was positive, we are happy to have had those moments, if scary, we are relieved to know what happened to us was only a dream.This creative, imaginative and fun novel by Denning Bolton has many elements of dreams. Just like in dreams, you will watch impossible things happen, with a magical device called the Time Card. This book makes you think, because the plot is a unique one. Someone (Fogarty) is imprisoned for life for a crime he supposedly had not committed. He gets an opportunity to take a part in a time-travel experiment in exchange for reducing his sentence by five years. Fogarty has only 72-hours to time-travel and do all the things he wishes to do, including undoing the crime he has been accused of doing. The catch is there is a possibility that he may never return to the present. Many who got involved in the same experiment never came back.Here are questions to ponder on. Would you sacrifice your life for a 5-year reduction in your sentence? Granted that being a prison is one of the worst things that could happen to someone. After a while even such a place can be preferred to death. Breathing the air, seeing the sun, having a healthy mind to think and imagine. . . . With our imagination we can live in a beautiful world, far from our prison compound. We can time and space travel just like Fogarty, all these at no cost or hassle.
