By Brian Evans I read Legacy of Moon and Fire immediately after reading Children of Sun and Moon and Curse of Witch and War. Now I cannot wait for the third book in the Skyfall Trilogy.The element of Legacy of Moon and Fire that really stands out is the evolution of characters. Larkin's storyline draws out complex dynamics between and within the story's characters. I found myself gravitating towards a character only to have that feeling turned on its head a few chapters later. It was great because its makes the characters real and interesting.This one took a little longer to read that Children of Sun and Moon, but I feel like it was because Larkin spent more time exploring the depth of characters instead of introducing the Skyfall world and the Trilogy's characters.Another great read!

Will book two be as good, deep, and entertaining as book 1?In Larkin's case, yes. Yes it can.Legacy of Moon and Fire, sequel to Children of Sun and Moon, is every bit as thrilling as book one. Filled with amazing magic, dynamic characters, and a world as bursting with energy as our own, Legacy is the kind of novel you can't help but love. Fans of book one will not be disappointed!
