Etaine’s hurt and anger at Cormac’s abandonment runs deep, and Cormac’s bitterness at her desertion hasn’t lessened over the years. Cormac plots to expel Etaine from the Rangers, and from his life once and for all, but as events unfold, Cormac at last understands the devastating consequences of his actions years earlier. He glimpses the Serpent’s realm and realises that together, he and Etaine have the chance to defeat the Fada. But first Etaine must learn to trust again, and Cormac to Remember. And time runs short; the Serpent rises.

The love story between Etaine and Cormac is so addictive, it is impossible to put down. Once you start reading The Emerald Serpent don't even bother trying to do "responsible adult things like laundry". This book demands all of your attention and will leave you wanting oh so much more!
