From the author Avan Shah - "This children’s book contains 14 stories that were told to me by my Dada, which means grandfather in my language. These stories are from his childhood in India. Many of these stories were told to him over 70 years ago and he still remembers them like it was yesterday. When my Dada and I would go for our evening walks, I would be excited to hear a new story each time. Many of his stories included animals that have to solve a problem by finding a clever solution. At the end of the story, my grandfather would have me summarize it and find the moral of the story. These morals have taught me different types of lessons and have helped me learn what is right from what is wrong. We hope that this collection of stories will be read by generations of children and have the same effect on them as it had on me."

About the Author Avan Shah is a 6th grade student at Doherty Middle School in Andover, Massachusetts. He decided to write this book to share some of the great stories that his Dada (grandfather) has told him over the years. He has always had a love of stories and growing interest in drawing and sketching which helped drive his interest in developing this book of folk tales. Dinesh O. Shah is Avan's Dada and is a retired professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He has always had a deep love for books, poetry and songs since early childhood. Nothing gives him more joy than to work with Avan on this book of his favorite childhood stories told to him by many of his family members and friends.

I highly recommend this book! I also recommend buying more than one...makes a great gift for family and friends! Plus, all proceeds go for a good cause!
