The author delves into the very beginning of rock and roll and the trials and tribulations of producers finding talented groups with that special sound hoping for fame and fortune. It's a generational story relating to the reader the obstacles faced in trying to maintain popularity in a business that is constantly changing. If you have the slightest interest in the history of music, and are curious as to what was the first rock and roll recording, this is the book to read.
