The anticipation was made quite a bit easier because I was able to read other James Wharton books and more fully appreciate the author's literary range...subtle humor or creative plots & characters and intellect. My expectations included aviation scenarios that I could relate to as a former Naval Aviator. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I felt myself riding along and reliving some of my own experiences in a kind of Jonathan Seagull way, which is the only way to truly fly. This came together largely because the author is clearly knowledgeable and weaves facts so the maneuvers and airplane performance is believable. Another expectation was that the heroines would remain true to the characters he developed in book one. Bebe & Kate have a very interesting individual history and they combine as a duo that one wishes to observe in action over and over again. OSTRA is still the agency that a person loves to hate, but at the same time I think I'm glad they exist, if only to perpetuate more adventures and sequels. I am interested in what happens next and am already eagerly anticipating the next adventure. Meanwhile, I have determined that James Wharton is an author worth reading. Period. So, I checked out www.jameswharton.net and compared the list of his books I have on my Kindle against his list of books written. I know for certain that I am a huge fan of Sherrif Jimmy Harris, and I honestly can't get enough of the humor found in Deluxe UFO Tour Company.

The Destiny Series is a True Winner By Bernard The Destiny series by James Wharton is an exceptional fictional story line that is entertaining and places the reader in an adventure that is comprised with excellent twists and imagination. This is not your run of the mill fiction for fiction sake. It is a yarn that provides both mystery and possibilities that the reader can immerse into a variety of thoughts an vivid pictures of action and feelings. The story line is well thought out and provides a pleasurable distraction to todays pragmatic view of just about everything. Take a good Trip and enjoy. One suggestion to the reader is I think it would be most beneficial and practical to read the Destiny Project and then Destiny Project II to get the best enriched experience.

There are so many grammatical errors and misspellings that it makes for having to reread many passages over and over. And, this is not the first book, by this author, that I have found this problem. The lack of proper proof reading seems to be a constant in his publications. And, as usual, his characters are shallowly fleshed out. Irritating to say the least.
