About the Author Dana Bennett lived in north central Florida for the first chapter of his life. After high school, he spent the next chapter working with problem teens and their families in Pensacola, Florida and then spent time on the Colorado River Indian Reservation, in Parker, Arizona helping the Native American population. He graduated from Nova Southeastern with a degree in psychology later in life. He has had many eclectic professional experiences in the work arena, always returning to the creativity he finds in building and construction as well as crafting new stories. He has three wonderful daughters and two adorable grandsons. He is married to his best friend and partner in life, love, and business. They have a strong supportive community of friends and neighbors who encourage them daily to keep writing. He enjoys each day with Blakely as they work on their never finished project, life. Writing is his bliss and both he and Blakely are chasing the dream of writing full time.

Time traveler extraordinaire By DivaC A continuation of “Geared to the present” and the exploits of Jones Whitman and Darcy Champagne who he’d met on a previous trip. She even knows about his automaton, well... he did show up unexpectedly in her backyard. And she eventually accompanies him on his journeys. They actually make a great couple. There is a lot of bantering back and forth and a comradery that forms between the two. You like Jones and his quirkiness, Darcy and her fearlessness and you like the other characters you meet along the way.The action is fast, believable, (if slightly unbelievable) and quite enjoyable. So if you get a chance to check out the series do so. You’ll enjoy it. He’s no “Dr. Who” or “Sherlock”, but he’d probably give them a run for their money.I received this book from Reading Alley in return for a fair and honest review

After reading the first in the series, I DID say I was looking forward to the further adventures. I didn’t realize that they would be coming at me fast and furious.This historical sci-fi, with a new set of ‘super-heroes’ keeps the imagination going as to the possibilities. When a 21st century young lady teams up with a 19th century gentleman and they travel to the 19th century China Buddhist temple… well, it does tend to mix it up a bit.As I read, I find myself thinking of what I would do with the ability to come and go as I please. What era, what people of historical significance. Or better yet… people who you and I never heard of, show up in what seems to be an everyday situation with ordinary people. By Vyrissi A Must Read!This is the second book in the Jones Whitman: Time Traveler series and if anything, it is even better than the first!Jones and Darcy continue to learn the ins and outs of time travel while spending time in a monastery in 1880s China and other exotic locales. They also learn a lot about themselves, each other, and what they are capable of. The 'Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court' feel continues with HILARIOUS anachronistic responses to common modern slang terminology. An intelligent and witty read that I highly recommend.Review copy provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review.
